The interested party must present identification, proof of current residence, proof of income (last month’s statement) and bank statement. Once all documentation is in hand, Banco Arbi will proceed with the analysis of the transaction.

The deadline depends on the Consignor (employer), the type of endorsement (manual or online) and the transaction (new contract or refinancing). For new employer contracts in which endorsement is online, and registered proposals with correct documentation, delivered by 1 pm, the credit is released on the same day.

Credit portability is the possibility for the customer to request the transfer of credit operations (loans and financing) and leasing from one financial institution to another, through early settlement of the operation at the original institution by the new financial institution. The conditions of the new operation must be negotiated between the customer and the institution that will grant the new credit. The operation of credit portability does not include the release of funds to the customer.

The incidence of Income Tax on CDB investments is in accordance with the regressive table below:

  • 22.5% for applications with a term of 180 days
  • 20.0% for applications with a term of 181 to 360 days
  • 17.5% for applications with a term of 361 to 720 days
  • 15.0% for applications with a term of more than 721 days

Remember that income tax will be withheld at source at the time of redemption or maturity of the investment and will only impact the income earned by the investor.

The Central de Custódia e Liquidação Financeira de Títulos Privados (B3) is a company that acts as a clearinghouse for the registration, deposit, negotiation and settlement of securities, in accordance with the applicable rules of the CVM (Securities and Exchange Commission) and the Central Bank, and aims to offer greater security and transparency to investors.

SCR is the acronym for the Central Bank’s Credit Information System, an instrument for recording and consulting information on credit operations, guarantees and bonds provided and credit limits granted to individuals and legal entities by all financial institutions, which are the agents responsible for the systematic forwarding of data, on a compulsory basis.

The Credit Guarantee Fund (FGC) is a private, non-profit entity that manages a protection mechanism for account holders, savers and investors within the National Financial System, which allows the recovery of deposits or credits held in a financial institution, up to a certain amount, in the event of intervention, liquidation or bankruptcy.
